Lexus has added a limited-edition version of its UX small SUV.
Due to go on sale in mid-April, the UX 250h F Sport Design Special Edition is based on the existing UX 250h 2WD Luxury + EP2 variant with a number of enhancements.
It will be limited to just 250 units and priced at $58,120 plus on-road costs.
Exterior enhancements include bespoke grille, front and rear bumpers, black roof rails and exterior mirror caps, body-coloured wheel arches, 18-inch wheels with run-flat tyres and an F-Sport Design badge.
Also, for the first time in a Lexus UX there is a two-tone roof with a choice of six exterior colour finishes: White Nova, Sonic Chrome, Sonic Iridium, Caliente, Carnelian and Cobalt Mica.
Inside there’s a moon roof, colour head-up display and smart key card. NuLuxe leather-accented upholstery can be finished in Black or White Ash hues, paired with high-quality Washi paper ornamentation.
Other standard features include wireless phone charger, heated seats with eight-way adjustable driver’s seat and power tailgate.
Infotainment features are accessed through a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 7.0-inch multi-information display.
Power for the UX 250h 2WD F Sport Design Special Edition comes from Lexus Hybrid Drive which teams a 2.0-litre petrol engine and electric motor on the front axle for smooth, responsive and efficient propulsion.
With 107kW/188Nm from the petrol engine and 80kW/202Nm from the electric motor, combined peak power output is 135kW, with an average combined fuel consumption of 4.5L/100km.
As with all models in the UX range the 250h 2WD F Sport Design Special Edition comes with Lexus Connected Services which uses a smartphone app to provide access to a range of information and services relating to their vehicle including the ability to lock and unlocking the vehicle remotely.
A three-year subscription to the Lexus Encore owner benefits program is included; offering capped-price servicing, 24-hour roadside assistance, complimentary loan vehicles when your car is being serviced, and a number of other owner benefits
