Blue Mts to Broken Hill

Day Nine of our trip to Broken Hill finds us face to face with some serious Australiana in the outback mining town of White Cliffs, reports CHRIS RILEY.

If any town can claim to have reinvented itself it's Parkes about 350km west of Sydney, a mecca for tourists with the iconic Dish and Elvis festival, reports CHRIS RILEY.

We bid farewell to Broken Hill as we head out to the opal fields of White Cliffs and the Underground Motel for a couple of nights of R&R, reports CHRIS RILEY.
