Two extra seats for CR-V

Honda Australia has added a new seven-seat version of its popular CR-V to the lineup.

The seven seater will be available in two trim levels:

  • VTi-E7 priced from $34,490
  • VTi-L priced from $38,990

CR-V is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 140kW at 5600rpm and 240Nm at 2000-5000rpm, with fuel consuption a claimed 7.4L/100km.

The new comes with essential second and third row air conditioning vents for rear-seat passengers.

VTi-E7 boasts leather-appointed seats, 8-way power adjust driver’s seat, Apple Carplay/Android Auto, 7.0-inch display audio, 18-inch alloys, three-mode reversing camera, rear USB ports.

The VTi-L adds a panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, front and rear parking sensors, Lane Watch camera, built-in navigation, driver’s memory seat and heated front seats.

“CR-V has been a strong player in the seven-seat Medium SUV segment, consistently ranking first or second in private sales every month since its July 2017 launch”, Honda Australia boss Stephen Collins said.

“The introduction of the VTi-E7 provides Honda Customers an additional option for those looking for an attainable seven-seat option with family-friendly features such as leather seats, third-row ceiling air vents and two USB ports in the second row for electronic devices.
