Militem a Ram with a touch of Italian

Meet the Militem Magnum 700, the Italian version of the Ram 1500 TRX pickup with a truly operatic note.

It’s equipped with a hyper powerful 6.2-litre supercharged Hemi V8 engine with 702 horsepower and 882Nm of torque and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds.

The quarter mile takes 12.9 seconds.

Founded in 2107, the Monza-based company, founded by Hermes Cavarzan, specialises in hot-rodding Jeeps and Rams, with versions of the Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep Gladiator and even the Jeep Renegade.

Militem’s latest offering is the new Magnum 700, described as the ‘American tech-Italian made’ high-performance pickup.

It produces 702 hp, thus the 700 moniker — or about 523kW of power in our reckoning.

Four Militem Black Performance exhausts enrich the bellowing note of the 6.2-litre supercharged Hemi V8.

Exclusive Militem 22-inch Black Edition forged wheels 35 x 12.50 R22 paired with All-Terrain oversized tyres give the vehicle a touch of elegance that reflects current trends.

Militem’s engineering department has carefully refined the vehicle’s dynamics, with the reinforced ladder frame paired with a joint raised stance with adaptive suspension and Bilstein Black Hawk E2 shock dampers, designed for all driving conditions — both on and off-road heavy-duty.

Magnum 700 has a ground clearance of 30cm, guaranteeing an unparalleled fording depth of more than 80cm, an entry angle of 30.2 degrees, breakover angle of 21.9 degrees and exit angle of 23.5 degrees.

Drive models include: Sport – Snow – Bahia – Rock – Mud/Sand – Tow. Plus one: Custom, tailored to the driver’s taste.

The “Magnum BAR”, an exclusive sports bar made by Militem and equipped with a retractable light bar with automatic LED lights, improves visibility on unlit roads and in extreme off-road situations.

Options include a panoramic double-panel sunroof, automated opening and closing of the body, nautical cover complete with logo, rear that can also be operated with remote controls.

There’s also a removable load area step to simplify loading and inspections of the body, dedicated roll-bar over the body and automatically removable sidesteps to allow agile and pleasant access, customisable LED ambient lights and more.

Magnum 700 is fully customisable inside and out.

The colour of the body, bonnet, front grille, calipers and brake and wheel rims can be selected, along with the colour of the seats, steering wheel, stitching, cockpit upholstery and full door panels for the interior.

The new Militem face features a two-tone hexagonal grille, widebody bonnet and fenders, and mirrors that can be enhanced with carbon fibre inserts, as well as tone-on-tone trim.

N-Trek added to X-Trail range

The interior is trimmed in top-quality leathers, Alcantara inserts and carbon-fibre details, with contrast stitching, embroidered “700” logo on the backrests and “Militem” logo on the chrome plaque.

Both the front and rear seats are wraparound and equipped with heating and cooling features.

The 12.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 19-speaker Harman Kardon Premium audio system immerse passengers in an exclusive and technologically advanced environment.
