This is where it all began back in the 70s with the launch of the VB Commodore.

And this is where it comes to and abrupt ends tomorrow when the last Aussie-designed Holden Commodore rolls off the production line.

Sure, a new Commodore goes on sale next year, but it won’t be the genuine article – just an import like the rest of the cars on the market from now on.

It won’t be real-wheel drive and it won’t be powered by a V8.
