Alfa Giulia and Stelvio go digital

Alfa Romeo’s Giulia and Stelvio models have been updated with a new look inside and out.

The MY23 Giulia sedan is priced from at $68,450, while the Stelvio SUV kicks off from $76,450.

The high-performance Quadrifoglio versions start from from $153,700 for the Giulia QV and $162,700 for the Stelvio QV.

On-road costs need to be added.

Each model comes with a choice of two variants — Ti and Veloce.

Both Giulia and Stelvio get a new front grille, with the two main air ducts incorporating a new version of the traditional Alfa Romeo V-shaped Trilobo grille.

Inside, the instrument panel, characterised by the historic Cannocchiale design, includes a new, totally digital, 12.3-inch TFT infotainment screen together with an 8.8-inch driver information screen.

Both Giulia and Stelvio are equipped with a high-performance four-cylinder, 206kW turbocharged petrol engine.

Performance and fuel economy are matched to the MultiAir electro-hydraulic variable valve actuation technology and the Direct Injection system with 200 bar injection pressure.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio has all-wheel drive with Q4 technology, including an active torque distribution system which monitors grip conditions and driver inputs in real time to ensure the best performance.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available alongside smartphone wireless charging to keep you connected with your mobile device.

Dual Zone climate control maintains the ideal temperature in the car to increase comfort, along with heated and electric front seats

Veloce variants add a number of sporty features including a limited slip differential, rear diffuser, red brake calipers, sports seats, privacy glass, aluminium insert material and shift paddles plus a 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.

Stelvio gets 20-inch alloy wheels, others are 19-inch, along with a hands-free powered tailgate.

Safety features include a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with Traffic Jam/Highway Assist and Traffic-sign Recognition/Intelligent Speed Control, Active Blind Spot, Lane Keep Assist, Active Cruise Control, Driver Behaviour Warning and Forward Collision Warning.

There is also Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), front and rear parking sensors and reversing camera.
