Lamborghini has claimed the lap record at eight international race circuits with the Huracan Performante.
The company says the new records set in the 12 months since the launch of the car are a testimony to the ALA (Lamborghini Active Aerodynamics) system fitted to the car — which won last year’s Autocar Innovation Award.
This system, based on the use of ultra-lightweight composite materials, provides aero-vectoring, along with a dedicated chassis set-up, all-wheel drive and further enhancements to the powertrain.
The Performante delivers incredibly high performance and the best results on the track, while at the same time maintaining the most engaging and dynamic road feel.
The Performante is powered by a 5.2-litre V10 with 477kW at a lofty 8000 rpm and 600Nm of torque at 6500 rpm.
It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and can reach a top speed of over 325 km/h.
The times were set during press trials carried out by prestigious magazines on their circuits of reference.
Automobili Lamborghini is adding a “new dimension” to the Huracán Performante at the Geneva Motor Show.
