It’s open season on Kias

Riley Riley

Long time sponsor of Australian tennis, Kia has declared open season on its cars with a number of Australian Open Special Editions.

Heading up the line up is a Rafa Stinger, together with special editions of the Picanto, Rio and Sportage – all in limited numbers.

Only 75 examples of the Rafa Stinger will be offered, representing each of Rafael Nadal’s 75 singles titles during his outstanding career.

Based on the entry 200S four cylinder model, the Rafa Special adds 19-inch alloys, an 8-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, 9-speaker audio and premium brown interior, along with exclusive body decals including a Rafa signature plus and a numbered interior badge.

As part of the deal Kia even throws in an autographed Rafa tennis racquet with certificate of authenticity.

Priced from $47,990 – $2000 more than the entry 200S – the Rafa Signature Edition is available in Panthera Metal, Deep Chroma Blue or Aurora Black Pearl.
