Mahindra has boosted its Pik-Up line with the addition of three 4×2 models.
If you don’t need to go off the bitumen it makes the no frills Indian made work ute even better value.
Three new models have been added:
- S6 Single Cab 4×2 Cab Chassis, from $21,990 drive away
- S6 Single Cab 4×2 Cab w GPA Tray, Bluetooth and Cruise Control, from $23,990 drive away
- S10 Single Cab 4×2 Cab with GPA Tray, from $25,990 drive away
A single cab version of the S10 4×4 diesel has also been added, priced from $28,990 Drive Away.
All Pik-ups are powered by a 2.2-litre turbodiesel with 103kW of power and 330Nm torque, together with a six-speed manual transmission that in the two-wheel drive form powers the rear wheels.
An Eaton mechanical diff lock is standard and single cab models can carry a 1325 kg payload, and haul a braked 2.5 tonne load.
The entry S6 model comes with steel wheels and air conditioning.
High spec S10 with Satellite Navigation, 6.0-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, Climate Control and Alloy Wheels.
Safety features include two airbags, Hill Descent Control, ESC, ABS, EBD, and Roll-over mitigation.
Head rests and three-point lap sash seat belts for all seats have also been added, along with two ISOFIX anchors in the rear seat with three top tether points for all Double Cab models.
“Many of our farm and trade customers like our S10 Dual Cab but have been wanting those specifications in Single Cab,” says Russell Thiele, Head of Automotive Business.
“Now with the introduction of S10 4×4 and 4×2 Single Cab we are able to offer a truly competitive high spec Ute in the light commercial market.”
The ute is covered by a 5-year/100,000km warranty with 5-year roadside assistance.
