The new Mercedes-Benz C 200 Sport Edition brings a range of distinctive sporty enhancements in an enticing package.
Offered in a limited number additions include 19-inch AMG multi-spoke bi-colour alloy wheels painted in black with high-sheen finish, dark-tinted privacy glass from B-pillar to rear, Night Package and an AMG spoiler lip, which is available for the first time on a non-AMG variant of this generation of the C-Class.
The Night Package adds distinctive design elements in high-gloss black on the C 200 Sport Edition, such as exterior mirror housings and trim strips, beltline and window line, as well as trim moulding in the AMG front and rear aprons and louvre of the radiator shell.
The C 200 is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 48-volt mild hybrid system that delivers 150kW of power and 300Nm of torque, combined with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
The sprint from 0-100km/h takes 7.3 seconds.
Inside, the Sport Edition features metal-structure trim on the centre console and dash, as well as black artificial leather upholstery as standard.
The Mercedes-Benz C 200 Sport Edition builds upon the C 200 sedan’s already impressive list of specifications.
These include an AMG Line Interior, including sports front seats, heated and electrically adjustable with Memory Package, Thermatic dual-zone climate control, impressive 11.9-inch MBUX Multimedia system and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, smartphone integration for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and wireless charging up front for mobile devices.
The AMG Line exterior includes Agility Control suspension, electrically adjustable, folding and heated exterior mirrors, keyless entry, automatically powered boot, LED headlights with headlight assist and adaptive highbeam assist and 360-degree camera.
The C 200 Sport Edition is also equipped with a suite of driver assistance safety technology.
Normally priced at $88,400 plus on-road costs, the C 200 Sport Edition will be offered nationwide for a driveaway price of $92,500 until June 30, 2025.
