You can now get into a Nissan Pathfinder for less than $60,000.
Nissan has lowered the entry point with the introduction of a new ST-L grade, priced from $59,670 plus on-roads.
Available in both 2WD and 4WD form, the ST-L joins another reintroduced entrant for 2024, the Ti 2WD, to bring the total number of grades and driving configurations in the Pathfinder family to five.
Though it acts as an entry point to the Pathfinder family, the ST-L boasts a generous equipment and safety list, and the confidence of a powerful-yet-efficient petrol V6 engine.
That includes 18-inch alloy wheels, dusk-sensing LED headlights with High Beam Assist and daytime running lights, LED front fog lights, a powered tailgate and roof rails.
Inside, ST-L features a 7.0-inch driver display, head-up display and a 9.0-inch touchscreen with built-in navigation, Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, and four USB ports.
Heated front seats and tri-zone air-conditioning ensure ultimate comfort in every seat.
Like the rest of the Pathfinder range, ST-L is equipped with Nissan’s powerful direct-injection 3.5-litre petrol V6 with 202kW of power at 6400 rpm and 340Nm of torque at 4800 rpm, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission.
There’s Standard, Sport, Eco, Snow and Tow modes in 2WD models, while 4WD models add Mud and Sand modes.
Capability is assured, too, with a 2.7-tonne braked towing capacity.
