If you’re already thinking of getting one of those super-cute Fiat 500s, well, hang on a minute – because Fiat Australia has just released the Fiat 500 Collezione Spring Edition.
It marks the beginning of the season with Italian elegance, style and exclusivity.
Downside is there are just 70 cars available in the Collezione Spring Edition and if you’re quick you can choose from hatchback or cabriolet, each with more than $3000 of additional design elements on top of Lounge specification.
The cars come with two-tone bianco gelato and lunare grey paint finish, 16-inch design alloy wheels, chrome bonnet line, mirror covers and bumper inserts, a Collezione badge on the tail and the cabriolets get a grey soft top.
Inside, there’s a white body colour dashboard insert, striped seat inserts with grey highlights and embroidered “Collezione” floor mats.
“The Fiat 500 Collezione Spring Edition celebrates the new season with a fresh, fun and unique offering while encapsulating the iconic design of the timeless cinquecento,” Fiat’s Fulvio Antonelli said.
“We’re excited to bring a touch of La Dolce Vita to the market.”
Standard features include leather gear knob and steering wheel with built-in commands, a 7.0-inch UConnect touchscreen system with Bluetooth, USB and AUX ports, 7.0-inch TFT instrument display, automatic climate control, fog lights, rear parking sensors, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The Collezione Spring Edition is on sale from $21,990.
Over the past 11 years the Fiat 500 has remained a trendsetter with more than 30 special editions across both Fiat and Abarth, exploring everything from fashion and luxury, to yachts and connectivity.
The many special editions include 500 by Diesel, 500C by Gucci in 2011, 500 Riva in 2016 and Anniversario created to celebrate the 60th birthday of the iconic Fiat.
