Piaggio and has joined forces with (RED) again to produce the Vespa Primavera (RED) — cool 125 and 150cc scooters.

(RED) was founded in 2006 by Bono and Bobby Shriver to engage businesses and people in the fight to end AIDS.

The organisation partners with the world’s most iconic brands to develop (RED)-branded products, experiences, and services that, when purchased, trigger contributions to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria.

Born in 1968, the Vespa Primavera embodies all the values that made it so successful more than half a century ago.

Young, innovative, technologically avant-garde, agile and dynamic, and environmentally friendly, today’s Vespa Primavera is a star of its time, inheriting the freshness and joie de vivre of its progenitor.

Vespa Primavera (RED) special edition has its entire steel chassis painted in the characteristic red, which elegantly envelopes the livery as well as adorning the wheel rims, making for a truly unique and immediately recognisable model.

It represents the evolution of a style, the meeting with modernism that enhances the elegance of the original design.

Further enhancing this version is the iconic Vespa (RED) logo that adorns the front shield with its contrasting white signature.

The comfortable, ergonomic seat is created in nubuck leather, borrowed from the Vespa 946 – the model voted aesthetically and technologically perfect.

Vespa Primavera (RED) is powered by modern 125 and 150cc four-stroke single cylinder i-get engines, air cooled and equipped with electronic injection and three valve distribution.

A remarkably environmentally friendly engine capable of performance at the top of its category, that allows Vespa Primavera to be particularly lively both in city traffic conditions and on the open road.

The good news is that for each Vespa Primavera (RED) purchased, $100 will be donated to the Global Fund to fight AIDS, which is providing 500 days of life-saving HIV/AIDS medication.
